The Trinbago Knight Riders will return home after a long away leg to battle against the Guyana Amazon Warriors at the Queen’s Park Oval in Port of Spain. TKR will be extremely confident and raring to go after what has been a terrific season so far. The Knight Riders have picked up 3 wins out of their 4 games and are all set to take the league by storm as they commence their home leg. The TKR fans in Trinidad will be more than eager to be at the stadium to cheer their favourite stars and have a blast like no other supporting TKR.

STORY OF THE SEASON
TKR have managed to clinch three important away victories against St Kitts, St Lucia Kings and Barbados Royals. Their last 2 victories have seen their players come off clutch in an impressive fashion when the team was in need of a special performance. The team has gelled up well and have delivered all-round performances throughout the season. TKR have been bolstered by the addition of Chris Jordan who has been announced as the replacement of Ali Khan for this season, while Tim David has also joined the squad after completing his international duties. These additions have strengthened the important aspects of the squad and TKR look ready and raring to go as their home leg approaches.

PLAYERS TO WATCH OUT FOR
Akeal Hosein
All eyes will be on TKR’s previous game’s Akeal Hosein, who with his all-round performance helped TKR pick up a crunch victory. Akeal has bowled terrific spells in the powerplay and also contributed with the bat when the team required the most. Akeal will be hoping to contribute yet again with both bat & ball and help his team take the advantage in this upcoming fixture.

Nicholas Pooran
Nicholas Pooran has created a different aura for himself in this TKR batting lineup where he can change games off his own bat with ease. Pooran has illustrated great temperament and incredible ball-striking skills throughout the season. TKR will be hoping that Pooran unleashes his skills on the field to help them towards victory in their clash against GAW.
