After clinching a dominant victory in their first game of CPL 2024, the Trinbago Knight Riders will now face off against the Antigua and Barbuda Falcons. This is the first time ever that these two sides will clash against each other. TKR will be hoping to continue from where they left off against SKNP and put on a dominant performance. PITCH & GROUND CONDITIONS

Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in North Sound Antigua has seen 4 games this year where the chasing team has been victorious. The pitch has gotten better as the game as played out in the night games. PLAYERS TO WATCH OUT FOR: 

Nicholas Pooran 

After his incredible knock in the last game, all eyes will be on Nicky P and how he goes about in this upcoming game. His outstanding stroke-making and confidence sets him apart from all the other batters. His role at no 3 is extremely crucial for TKR and they will be looking forward to another Pooran Special in this game.

 

Keacy Carty

Keacy Carty displayed an amazing dexterity and touch strokes in his last innings. Without playing too many shots in anger, Carty made a huge score at a healthy strike rate. His role in the batting lineup of batting as deep as possible is very important for the make up of TKR’s batting lineup. Keacy will be hoping to carry on his good form and deliver another exciting innings in this upcoming game. 

Josh Little

Josh Little got right into his work in his first game with TKR last match. His skill with the new ball is outstanding and his ability to pick up early wickets will be important for TKR’s bowling group. Josh will be aiming to deliver another crucial performance with the ball upfront in the powerplay and help TKR get the advantage.
